    netscape used the exact width if the current
    frameset is less than 1000px.
    you can use this frameset for a 768*1024 resolution

    <frameset border"0" cols="*,100">
    <frameset cols="750,*"> (this frameset is less that 1000px wide)
    <frame name="" src="-your document-"> (this frame is exactly 750px)
