Hi all,
Faceless applets when called from Javascript can create stunning
effects and when used properly you can really make very reach
clients. We developed an absolutely (modulo current technologies)

You can at least use it to browse your file system and open any file
using the browser -- we had to run (locally) a HTTP server in a
faceless applet to achieve this.
Or at least look at this game that it is very interesting in its own
right -- you can reduce any RSA public key to an instance of this game
(puzzle) so that if you solve the puzzle you break the key!
