    Hi,

    If you save the connect string in the DLL it will be safe but your
    program won’t be flexible to changes that might be in the connect string
    elements (changing of database, user, password ...). So the best
    practice is to exclude connection string to config file. This way any
    changes in the connect string wont cause recompilation of your
    application.
