    0px = 0em = 0cm = 0% etc.

    So they've made it optional, thus "padding:0" is perfectly valid.

    You're right. Here's the error
    the validator at w3 is throwing
    that probably needs to be fixed:

    Part of that error didn't copy over
    correctly. Here it is:

    Too many values or values are not
    recognized : 10px,0,10px,0
