    What happens if you try:

    Color w = UIManager.getColor("Table.background");`

    System.out.println( w );

    jTable.setGridColor( Color.WHITE );

    note that grid color and background color and are not the same thing.

    Thanks for reply
    UIManager.getColor("Table.background") give me 255,255,255, so it
    should be white, if i do :

    jTable.setGridColor(UIManager.getColor("Table.background"));

    the grid color won't change to white !!!

    But if i do this:
    jTable.setGridColor(Color.white);

    the grid color change to white.
