Re: maven java build path

    I should add I have other Java projects in STS that work fine and the Maven dependencies are included in the Java Build Path.

    Also for sia2 the Run->Maven Build works fine and builds the .war

    Maybe the difference between this and other projects is that the sia2 was imported (?)

    Okay I figured it out: I need to do a Project -> Import

    And choose Maven Project

    Then it worked fine.

    The only small problem I now have is that some projects are not
    dynamic web projects so I can't deploy them to a local web eclipse web
    server.

    Funny that nobody replied. Maybe traffic on comp.lang.java.programmer
    is light these days?

    Maybe this question suits a better group?

    I'm not a Maven maven, but I commend your follow-up. I like the
    colloquial format typical of usenet, but the help-desk style is an
