Re: .Net Dataview vs. Using Database View

  1. DataView is a view of the dataset which may or may not be the same as SQL
    server tables (since data can come from more than one data source). Plus,
    you can create dataviews once you have the dataset created, whereas creating
    Views on the SQL server takes time (plus permissions to create objects).
