    Incorrect, the problem here is that you do not understand what is
    happening. Firefox ignores your sizes without the "table-layout:fixed"
    and just happens to do something that apparently you like. Add
    "table-layout:fixed" and Firefox starts doing what you ask it to, which
    apparently you don't like.

    This has nothing to do with Opera or any other browser, consequently I'm
    crossposting and setting the follow-up to alt.html
