Re: Session in WebService with ASP.NET - Please Help

    Hi Juan,
    Web Services are often 'stateless', and hence a session isn't
    automatically created for you during a webmethod.
    In order to use a session, you need to create and attach a
    CookieContainer (IIRC) to the web service proxy.

    Also, look into SecureConversation - one of the WS* specs which I
    believe is supported by WSE2.0.

  2. Remember also that you can control how a web service uses session both
    through the machine.config file (machine overall settings) and on the service
    itself. By default, session is basically ignored (as you have stated).
