  1. I spoke too soon. In your example, you say:

    <xsl:template match="*" mode="after-b">
      <div>
        <xsl:text>element: </xsl:text>
        <xsl:value-of select="name()"/>
      </div>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>

    I need to perform a transform on all the nodes in this group. I can't
    use <xsl:apply-templates/>, since I need to transform siblings; and all
    the sibling queries I'm making are transforming the entire document. Can
    I reuse the key in an <xsl:apply-templates match="?"/> statement?
