Refering to a control on a page shown in a frameset

I have a textbox on a page that is shown in a frameset. When the control posts back to the server, the event is raised and the VB code that handles the "textchanged" event gets control. but the reference to me.textbox.text has nothing in it. If I view the page on its own (ie not in a frameset), then the value of me.textbox.text has the new value of the text box control. How can I find the value of the textbox when it is inside a frame of a frameset?
