    Hello Everyone:

I have been reading some conflicting information regarding
the use of relative and absolute paths in XHTML or JavaScript.

Can someone give me a clear answer as to which
advantages/disdavantages there are for each? Or if you
can point me to a web site where this is clearly explained.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mario

Relative are shorter and generally more portable between sites.

Absolute let you have load a resource from one domain in to a page on
    another.

Which is stupider: Pop-up ads claiming they'll stop spam, or spam claiming
    it'll stop pop-up ads? -- Dork Tower
