Hi, I've been looking around for information on configuration settings in
Tomcat that would allow for the thread count to be reduced when load comes
down. What I observe on my system (Irix 6.5.19, Java 1.4.1, Tomcat 4.1.24)
is that as needed the java process thread count will increase under load.
When the load comes down, the thread count stays the same. Is This a Tomcat
design or can this behavior be managed?
