    Hi, all,
how can I remote start Tomcat from a Linux machine?
When I typed startup.sh in /jakarta-tomcat/bin directory, I got "command not
found" message, and I am login as su.
    thanks in advance.

    hi

what do you see when you type: ls -l
    Is startup.sh in there?

    If so, try ./startup.sh
    mind the ./
