removing space between tables

Sharon Lee

Guess you haven't checked out http://bruciesusenetshit.info/ yet? Of
course, compared to "little Lissa" his is a minimalist approach.

I don't know that he would want to compete "head to head" with her,
either. Cue...

Audry

LOL thanks Audry .. I had seen that URL but I thought it was just a
fake joke that Brucie wrote so he could have another opportunity to
display his language skills.

He seems to have mastered HTML, now he needs to learn a bit about
marketing. Maybe he could learn a thing or two off little Lissa after
all.

Since this thread is still open, I'll just say that it doesn't matter even if you're a god with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.Net and Ajax, it's never appropriate to be a douchebag by posting unhelpful crap.

Putting "td" on the same line as "img" is a helpful comment. Saying that you can't just write any shit you want is not.

Secondly, DON'T USE DIVS FOR LAYOUT. The professionals are still using tables (even now, in 2007) because divs are fickle and browser-dependent. If you want to do anything with layout involving more than a block with defined width, using divs is just one big workaround. They have hierarchical problems, margins are counterintuitive, and they behave unpredictably. Use CSS, but with tables.

That is all.

If you have a problem with whitespace between tables, make sure you keep <img> on the same line as </td> and set cellpadding=0 and cellspacing=0.
