Required Field Validator Error ?

When I put some Required Field Validators on a web page
and upload to a host site, I get an error of "Parameter
Length = 0 ..." etc.

BUT If I take off the controls the page works ok.

It works locally on my PC - only fails on Hosted site.

Any ideas
