retaining info for editing

Discussion in 'ASP .Net Web Controls' started by mohammad asif, Sep 20, 2005.

  1. I am creating some custom module for my company using dotnetnuke portal.
I've created control view with edit capability. The problem is when one goes
to edit screen, it does not retain the view's content which is some info
being pulled from the sql db. The info on view control is shown using ID.
Only if I could somehow pass that ID to the edit control, then I am all set.
Does any body know how to acheive that or alternative? I am using the
"Creating custom Module" model from the DotNetNuke book. This article is
    also available at http://www.15seconds.com/issue/050505.htm .
