retrieve data from HTML page and process it in C

Hi,

Happy new Year...

i need to retrieve the data from the web server which is developed
using HTML and i need to process those data in c but i should not use
any CGIs.

Can anybody help me in this.

Based on what I've read so far, you need more help than I can give.

It depends really on what you want to do. "Parse" is a dangerously
unspecific word, and its applications can range from the trivial to the
obscure.
How to get the data from the server: well, you might like to play with
sockets, open a connection to the server, then download the html page,
then parse it. These things tend to be slightly more os-specific, but I
can help you along if you need to. I believe, however, that in your
application it may be simpler to use the output of wget.

"Parse": okay, do what you wish. But if you need to do too complicated
things, then maybe C is not the most suited...
no cgi's: by definition, cgi is simply a program. I am guessing that
what you mean is that the program cannot be hosted on that server (?).

I am not doing any parsing here...
i need to retrieve data from web server, developed in HTML and process

Is it possible to retrieve the data using snmp ie OID and MIS...
