I have tried various of the ideas submited to solve the need to put two
items on the same line with one flush left and one flush right.
The key seemd to be using a float left for the firm name and a float right
for the category AND a clear both command on the CSS for the next line.
This gets me excellent results in MSIE. This is the highest percentage of my
audience. So, I am happy about this.
However, On Nescapte 7.0 the process fails at the beginning of each new
alphabetic letter group in one of two ways
1) if the firm name was not a link, then the category which should have been
flush right instead is adjacent to the firm name.
2) if the firm name is a LINK, then the category slips down to the next
line, ratyher than be flush right on the same line as the firm name.
And on Opera 7.2 the whole body of code is shifted to the left margin.
I can not see any change in the HTML at those points in the document. So, I
am of the opinion that the problem is in the rendering of the CSS between
browsers.

Does anyone know how to change the HTML or CSS so that this renders well in
all three browsers Msie 6.0, Netscape 7.0 and Opera 7.1 ?
