RMI Server Stub. Must be run interactively? Surely not!

Hi,

I am trying to set up a Java program to do a bit of computation on a remote
machine. It all works fine during development but now that we have moved
into the testing phase of the project there are problems.

I am trying to start the remote process as a "detached process" /
"background job" but this won't work for me. It works every time when
running it from the telnet window but never when I set it to run on its own.

Any help would ease the stress of today Significantly!!
