Dan

if i have a text like
------------------------------
one
two
three

one1
two2
three3
----------------------------
using

one,two,three,four= lines.slice!(0, 4)
one.chop!
two.chop!
three.chop!
four.chop!

why do i get a nil error? i just want it to read the first three line of
every 4 lines...i know there is a blank line....is that the problem?
