just wrote up a simple ruby repl completion pased on irb or require 'debug'.
It looks like this:

You must compile the C/ helper application first which calls back into
Vim using the client-server feature.

:echo has('clientserver') must be 1
:echo v:servername must not be empty

There is no command yet. so just
call that function as shown in the comments.
