Ruby with RHEL 4, 64-bit

Does anyone have any experience running RHEL 4, on a 64-bit machine with
ruby?

Are there any known problems, compilation issues, etc... ?

Also, I mainly use ruby on windows, OSX and Debian... does RH have
comparable rpms via yum that debian has via apt-get, or should I plan on
compiling from source?

I have compiled and run it on RHEL ES 4, on a 64-bit machine, and so far
have noticed no problems.
The version of Ruby that comes with this redhat release 4 is relatively
old and the ri rdocs do not seem
to be generated or generatable, which is why I uninstalled the RPM
version, and build from the latest stable
sources, and ri rdocs where generated as per docs ok.
