Running Java Bluetooth API on PC

G

Gayan

Hello!
We hope to build a home automation system using bluetooth. The home PC
need to communicate with the room controllers (one controller for each
room in to which all the devices of that room are connected through
wires)
The room controler has a bluetooth module (Blu2i) and a microcontroller
(Atmel ATMega64). The microcontroller is programmed using C.
Is it possible to use Java Bluetooth API to develop an application that
RUNS ON PC (at least Windows XP) to communicate with all room
controllers (WITHOUT IMPLEMENTING JAVA BLUETOOTH API ON THE
MICROCONTROLLER) ?
Are there any usefull resources/code samples/suggestions ?
