Select dropdown box bleeds into Javascript dropdown menu

I have an onMouseOver Javascript dropdown menu that works fine, except
when the content below is a select dropdown box, then the dropdown box
bleeds into the javascript dropdown. Does anyone know how to fix this?

There is nothing you can do to stop this hapenning except to avoid such
circumstances.

1) Move the select element away from the area the javascript dropdown uses.

2) Hide the select element when the dropdown is visible.
