sending an action through net

Hi to everybody,
Is it possible to send an action through network, that is, when there are
two connected machine, one clicks a button to pop up a cube, the other one
will get the action so as a cube will also be showed.
sorry if my question not clear, i just can imagine what i want to do is
like this...

Sure that's possible. And there are many, many different ways to do it.
