Sending ASP email with SSL encryption

I don't know much about the ASP environment, as I've been spending most of
my time with PHP. But, how do I send an SSL encrypted email from an ASP
script? I'm sure there are plug-ins available for $$, but I'm looking for a
"no cost" method.
