Serializing problem...

Hi,

i want to serialize a complex JTree (or better the Tree Model iI get with
getModel() ).
If my tree only got a root (e.g. with userData of "MyClass") it works fine,
but if this root got an subnode (e.g. with same Classtype as as userData)
i can serialize it, but when i try to derserialize it, I get an
IllegalArgumentException ("path in TreePath must be non null").
Anyone got a solution?

Thanks at all, it works when i serialize the whole tree instead of the
treemodel....
