Is there a disadvantage to using the Server.Transfer technique -- eg.
    vs. Response.Redirect?

    Thanks

Response.Redirect sends a message back to the browser telling it to move to
another URL. Server.Transfer simply pushes the same request to a different
handler (no message back to the browser).

    Cheers,
