Server vs User Control Perfomance

    Hi All,
    Does anyone have any information on the difference in
    performance between Server Controls ans User Controls.


    Also,
    When using a user control, is it correct to say that
    the asp.net process doesn't do anything with the html on
    the control whereas in a server control you would have to
    create literal controls to drop any simple html (such as
    tables and divs).
