Setting ASP.NET 1.1 web service extensions

Hi All:

Where do I get IIS 6.0 for Windows XP Pro? I need to
install IIS 6.0 on XP so that I can get a web service
extension list. I do not see a web service extension
list in IIS 5.1, and cannot set ASP.NET 1.1 to Allowed.

This is a classical ASP NG.

Please try a dotnet Group.

Hi,

IIS 6.0 only runs on Windows 2003 Server. You can not install IIS 6.0 on
Windows XP Pro. There is not need to "enable" the ASP.NET Web Service
Extension on IIS v5.1. You just install the .Net Framework - that is all.
