Setting Attribute so some controls will not show in ToolBar?

I have a custom control library but do not what all of my controls to be
added to the toolbar every time I use the 'Tools>>Add/Remove Toolbar Items'
menu. Is there some attribute I can add to my control so that it will not
show here. (I realize that I can uncheck or delete it, but others are using
the same controls and it would be so much simpler to just stop them from
being added to the list.)
