Hello, I've been having a great many issues lately and I'm curious if they
could all be traced back to one particular issue, hopefully I won't need to
reinstall everything. When I attempt to run msconfig out of the Run option
the hourglass pops up for a second, and nothing else happens, its like it
tries to run the program but doesn't quite get there, and no error message
pops up when this occurs. In the same regards, attempting to run ipconfig
from the same thing will pop up a dos window for just a split second, then
disappear. I've run scans with both adaware and mcafee thinking this was a
virus, but neither have turned up any infections. This stuff is getting
really annoying as I can't make any changes to my startup or make any fixes
to my router network since I can't access the 192.168.1.1 site either. On top
of all of this my internet connection will randomly tank to below dial-up
levels without any seeming explanation, this was the issue I was trying to
look into with the router configuration. Any help that can be tossed my way
on this would be fantastic.
