    I tried by dowloading latest IE from microsoft but no use.
    This is working fine on win2k IE6

    Here is the html file I am using to display the tif file

    <html>
    <head>
    <img SRC="http://192.168.0.30/test/test.tif" BORDER="1">
    </head>
    </html>

    Any help will be Greately appriciated

    This isn't an ASP issue you're having. The issue is that IE doesn't support
    tifs. You'll see that if you go to http://192.168.0.30/test/test.tif,
    you'll be prompted to download the file, unlike what would happen for a gif
    or jpg.

    to download the file,all I am getting is a small red X
    icon.

    IE6.0

    client:WINXP IE6.0 Not working
    :WIN2k IE6.0 wroking perfect

    No, I'm not sure actually. Maybe if you make this change, the tiff'll show
    up.

    Are you sure?

    In our environment we have about 30 Win2K machines, 30 WinXP machines and
    about a dozen WinNT4 machines and none will show a tiff in the browser. I
    had to write a whole .NET image converter/splitter to get our fax interface
    working.
