signal to noise ratio

Hi!
I'm looking for some information how to measure the signal to noise
ratio on wifi network - I need to find a class or an open source
project, which I could I use in my program to do this measuring. Any
ideas where can I get this? Couldn't find anything in java
documentation. Any ideas?
