signing jar many times?

    Hi
    Why people signing jar file many time (like following)? In what
    suituation we need this?

    jarsign my.jar john
    jarsigner my.jar Peter

    Well, I can thing of one reason.

    [Simplified]

    If you trust John as he usually delivers quality software
    but you don't trust Peter as the code he delivers often is substandard
    due to his limited experience...

    In this case would you use a jar only signed by Peter?

    John signing one of Peter's jars most likely indicates he has reviewed
    it (maybe tested it) and he is happy with it.
