slide/translate div content

Q

question.boy

Hello,

I really don't know in which forum to post this question, so if this
is not the correct one please advise me accordingly.

I have a div that is constituted of a single row, multi-column table.
The div is set up in such a manner that it displays 5 columns and the
overflow is hidden. I amtrying to find out how I can add a previous
and a next button which will in fact slide/translate (left and right)
the table in the div by one column at a time without reloading the
page. I have googled, but obviously do not have the correct term as I
have found nothing along the lines of what I seek.

Thank you for your guidance!
