Small business starterkit deployment issues

Has anyone on the team responsible for the smallbusiness starter kit every
ran this thing on anything other than the Visual Studio Development Server.

After spending time getting used to this kit and adding my pages to it (only
pages no custom code), I tryed deploying it to my hosting provider. After
having everything work fine under VS 2005, I can't even view any pages
because I get this:

Apparently I don't have the proper trust levels (thats what the message
says) to run this starter kit. Now my hosting provider isn't going to up my
trust level, as it seems you guys recommend medium trust in a shared hosting
environment anyway, so does anyone have any guidance on how to get this kit
working in a medium (I'm assuming its medium it may be lower) trust
environment?

I've spent 4 days on this already so any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

This group (microsoft.public.inetserver.asp.general) is for the issues on
ASP/Visual InterDev. For smallbusiness issues, I suggest you may post in
microsoft.public.smallbiz. You can have more experienced people there who
may help on this issue.

Thank you for the understanding!

Just to clarify I am not talking about small business server but the small
business ASP.NET StarterKit (There is a set of these Perasonal, Commerce,
Club, and SmallBusiness). My post has absolutely nothing to do with small
business server.

Hello,

I appologize if I misunderstood the question. Anyway, this group is still
not a place for ASP.NET question, it is for old ASP and Visual InterDev.
For ASP.NET issue, you may post in microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet
or microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.security, which are also MSDN
managed group.

Regarding the issue, if you need to allow your application to access files
outside of the application's virtual directory hierarchy, you can create a
custom policy file based on the Medium trust file, and then modify the
FileIOPermission. For more details, you can refer to:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnpag2/html
/PAGHT000020.asp

But this also require the provider's assistance. I am not familiar with
small bussiness starterkit, not sure if this can help. If there is any
things I can provide, please feel free to let me know.
