Hi All,

Can I create a sub procedure in global.asa file?

If YES then Will that be Local to global.asa or Global for website?

And can I CALL that Sub from the Session_Onstart ?

Thanks

Yes, but there's not a lot of point doing so, because ...

Local to Global.asa. Why Our Friends in Redmond ever called this
thing "Global", I'll never know ...

Hi Phill,

Thanks for your reply. But can you please tell me why there must be LOT of
point doing so (creating a SUB). I was thinking instead of write a SUB will
be cleaner way to do things - Because My global.asa will look clean.

FYI:
My Requirement is I have to update one text file when Session Starts. Whci
will need to check if the folder exists or noit, file exists or not,
datewise format the records etc etc. So I have opt for a different Sub
instead of directly writing those in Session_Onstart and calling the sub
from Session_OnStart.

Thanks
Prabhat
