Suse 10 irb navigation keys does not work

is there any configuration in suse to activate navigation keys in IRB,
my suse 10 installation does not work well when I run IRB in Konsole
(KDE)

I'm not sure exactly what you mean here. I run ruby 1.8.4 (2005-10-29)
on SuSE 10 and have no difficulties with irb using konsole. Please
explain in more detail and somebody may be able to help.
