System.Diagnostic.Eventlog - Urgent!!!

Hi,
Is there a class similar to System.Diagnostic.Eventlog(which i saw
in .net ) in java?

Or whether java provides any class that contains methods to access
windows eventlog files?

Please let me know, it is urgent.

Log4j does appear to have and Appender for NT Event log.
http://logging.apache.org/log4j/1.2/apidocs/org/apache/log4j/nt/NTEventLogAppender.html

Not sure which logging framework you are using(Java5, commons-
logging,log4j)
