Do you know if it's easy make the work I need with pdf files? Consider I
need to put unicode character in the page (japanese font).

Thanks, S.

It would help if you explain in a bit more detail what you're trying to do
here. Putting Japanese text into PDF files is not a straightforward process
because the standard Acrobat Reader can't handle Japanese text.

What are these documents for?

Of course, you could shell out a fortune for Acrobat or spend a few
weeks learning LaTeX :D

My boss, who is quite skilled in HTML though it's not his daily work,
spend less than a week to know LaTeX. He loves it! He can convert it to
all kinds of formats.

Oh you could quite easily learn the basics in a couple of hours, but to
say that you could "know LaTeX" in less than a week is nonsense! It's
like saying that you can learn a foreign language to fluency in just a
few days :\

It proves that *I* don't know LaTeX.

I have a list of words (unicode text format, a word per line) and from that
I need to create some flashcard (small paper card with a word per card). I
can easily write a program to generate dinamically an html page with a N x N
table and then print and cut that each card.
Generate html code is very easy not the same with postscript or Latex.

Any simple idea?
Thanks, S.
