Hello,
I need to display & edit some data comming form the middle tier in a
DataGrid or DataList control. Upon databinding, the control should diplay
the data in a row of text boxes, allowing the the user to edit current
values. When the hyperlink in the Edit template column is clicked, the
control should post to itself and refresh the its parent (another web user
ctrl) w/ the new values (my other tiers will already have reflected the
changes). My data come in rows, like this: Department, Tel, Fax, Email, etc.
Two questions:
1) What control to pick - DataList or DataGrid?
2) Is there an example I could use to quickly test a possible solution?
