The ASP.NET Ajax ScriptManager's <CompositeScript> property

Are the core MS Ajax Library scripts that are sent to the client when a
ScriptManager are added to an .aspx page automatically combined, for
increased perceived performance, or do I have to add them to the
CompositeScript/Scripts collection?
