Hi There!

Can someone please answer my question?

How do you make a link (say I do a link via. picture like "click on this

picture to enter the website" or w/e) white?

It keeps on appearing as blue and after I click it it's purple, but I want it

to stay transparent and white all the time!

can someone please help???

THANKS,

SNIR :)

Blue and purple are the standard colours for links (link and visited). You
need to use CSS - here you are:

why would you want to make someone click on an image to enter a site?

If you want it to stay white *all the time* use the markup below, but it's
not generally considered good practice to do so as it can confuse people who
are used to the blue/purple effects.

Try ...

<body link="#FFFFFF" vlink="#FFFFFF" alink="#FFFFFF">
<a href="URL or page Link"><img src="image.jpg"></a>

If you want the new link page or image to open in a 'New Window' it's the
markup below ...

<body link="#FFFFFF" vlink="#FFFFFF" alink="#FFFFFF">
<a href="URL or page Link" target="_blank">><img src="image.jpg"></a>

Steve - *trying* to be helpful :~)
