Hello,
I'd like to simulate a market exchange in a application server.
Clients will be connected to a server in order to receive price
callbacks.
Prices will be received by an another system in the application server.
Have you any experience with that ?
How you would make that ?
My problem is :
How communicate from the server to the client (price callback)
- does RMI is performant, how many users ? (or other RMI format (http,
etc...))
- Is it possible to define a new format for the rmi transport ?
How maintain the state of data in the server ?
- EJB and which type ?
Is it easy to build a simple connector in order to access to other
systems ?
- Have you a simple example ?
Thanks
