Tom Riddle's Magical Diary Come to Life with AJAX

G

groups

If you haven't read the book, nor watched the movie, "Harry Potter and
the Chamber of Secrets". Harry Potter finds a diary with nothing
written in it. When he starts writing in it, the diary erases what he
just wrote. Then the diary itself writes a reply back on the same page.

I've implemented a magic diary using a chatbot and AJAX and some cool
scripting.

"Harry Potter "

Advertising for a pot smoking society or already brain damaged
individuals, is not part of javascript.

However, what he was doing was referring to a page that used
Javascript for something fun, perhaps even suggesting that people look
at it for inspiration on how to use XMLHTTPequest. I find that close
enough to being on-topic to not deserve such a reply.

And for the original poster: I think it's very nicely done. It
answered two out of my first three questions (didn't know the name of
my pet hamster ... which is fair, since I only have a cat :)
Why don't you get a life.

Please keep a civil tone.

And *please* stop top-posting.
