Total records

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by Paulo Roberto, Aug 13, 2007.

  1. Hi, how can I return the total of records returned from a DataSet? Because
if I use the grdview.row.count it will show just the page total... I would
    like the whole...

How can I do that? or must I execute another sql statement: "count(*)"
    instruction on db ?

    Thanks a lot!

  2. dataset1.table[0].Rows.Count should do the trick
