[Trick] Live Version Numbers on your blog

Discussion in 'Javascript' started by drnicwilliams, Aug 16, 2006.

  1. I've written up a tutorial on providing Live Version Numbers (or
statuses) on your blog for your projects that are hosted on different
sites. This is very handy for your users to know if there are any new
changes, without having to spam your entire blog readership for every
    minor patch.

I hope this is useful for people who are a bit scared to use javascript
    for simple, seemingly magical purposes.
