trouble download drools example via cvs

Seems to be on their end:
cvs.drools.codehaus.org doesn't even resolve to an IP-address.

Maybe, that's what the "legacy" in the first Url is meant to imply...

Is there a mirror location? Or another place? Just want to get started
with drools actually

I think you might find TortoiseCVS more intuitive as your client
rather than the command line tool.

It is.

But more intuitive does not help with a hostname that
does not translate to an IP address.
